The Queerest Flowers Grow in the Midwest

Zoe Green works from the human form and everyday life experiences to create opalescent environments that explore our more vulnerable thoughts regarding mortality, aging, and queerness in the Midwest. After working in Kentucky and Indiana at sculpture parks she has come home to Kansas City to continue her practice at the River Market Studios..

Green received her BFA from Northwest Missouri State University in Painting and Sculpture. She was the recipient of the Leigh Rosenberg Earnest Memorial Fund Scholarship Award, Michelle Parman Scholarship, and the artist internship position at Josephine Sculpture Park.
